Job summary

Jacobs in India invites an experienced Electrical Revit Designer to join our Electrical team. The ideal candidate will have strong Revit for electrical design, delivering detailed layouts and accurate outputs under tight deadlines.

You will work independently and with cross‑functional teams, update models per vendor drawings, and coordinate with AutoCAD, MicroStation and NavisWorks as needed in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of experience in REVIT Design (Mandatory).
• Basic knowledge of electrical cable tray routing and lighting fixtures.
• Hands-on REVIT electrical experience is required.
• Preparation and checking of MTO; updates per vendor drawings.
• Working on MicroStation and AutoCAD; able to extract drawings from MicroStation.
• Ability to work from sketches or Excel inputs.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and accurate electrical layouts in Revit.
• Update models to reflect vendor drawings and project changes.
• Collaborate with drafting and engineering teams to ensure quality outputs.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Revit for electrical design, with proven experience in developing detailed and accurate electrical layouts. The role requires someone who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet tight deadlines while delivering high‑quality outputs.

• 7-12 years years of experience
• Should have basic knowledge of electrical cable tray route, locating lighting, fixtures, support requirement.
• Hands on experience in REVIT electrical (Mandatory)
• Preparation and checking of Material Take Off. (MTO)
• Updating the model as per vendor drawings
• Working on Micro station & Auto CAD
• Extract drawing in MicroStation
• Should be able to work on the inputs in the form of sketch or excel sheet

Here’s what you'll need

• Minimum 5 Years’ experience in REVIT Design (Mandatory)
• Should know Auto CAD also
• Knowledge of Navis Works Review
• Diploma in Electrical or ITI
