Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a skilled ELV/AutoCAD designer in Mumbai to contribute to data-center and industrial projects. You will handle AutoCAD design for electrical/ELV systems, prepare MTOs, and update models per vendor drawings, working across schemas and Revit-derived schematics.

The role requires 3+ years in AutoCAD design, familiarity with Navisworks, and a Diploma/ITI in instrumentation or electrical. Jacobs supports hybrid work with onsite/offsite collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in AutoCAD design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Navisworks Review.

Responsibilities

• Hands on experience in AutoCAD in Electrical or ELV (Security system/BMS/FA/PA/Telecom).
• Preparation and checking of Material Take Off (MTO).
• Updating the model as per vendor drawing.
• Working on AutoCAD.
• Route ELV cable trays based on schematic.
• Create the schematics for ELV based on the Revit model.
• Extract AutoCAD 2D from AutoCAD 3D.

Skills:

• Minimum 3 Years’ experience in Autocad Design
• Should know Auto CAD
• Knowledge of Navis Works Review
• Diploma in Instrumentation / Electrical or ITI or equivalent
• 5-7 years of experience in handling ELV Design activities in Data-center or Industrial projects.
• BMS, Chiller plant Automation, Fire detection , PA , Telecom and Security system design work for Data Center or Industrial Projects.
