Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced ELV/AutoCAD designer to execute electrical/ELV schemes for data-center and industrial projects. The role involves updating models from vendor drawings, routing ELV trays, and creating schematics from Revit data. Strong knowledge of BMS, fire detection, PA and security design is preferred.

Minimum 3 years AutoCAD experience required. Diploma/ITI in instrumentation or electrical is essential.

Your impact

Job Responsibilities

• Hands on experience in Autocad in Electrical or ELV (Security system/BMS/FA/PA/Telecom.
• Preparation and checking of Material Take Off. (MTO)
• Updating the model as per vendor drawing
• working on Auto CAD.
• Route ELV cable trays based on schematic.
• create the Schematics for ELV based on the Revit model.
• power circuiting in Autocad model.
• extract autocad 2D from autocad 3D.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Minimum 3 Years’ experience in Autocad Design
• Should know Auto CAD
• Knowledge of Navis Works Review
• Diploma in Instrumentation / Electrical or ITI or equivalent
• 5-7 years of experience in handling ELV Design activities in Data-center or Industrial projects.
• BMS, Chiller plant Automation, Fire detection , PA , Telecom and Security system design work for Data Center or Industrial Projects.
