Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Electrical Revit Designer to join our Electrical team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Revit for electrical design, developing detailed layouts, and delivering high-quality outputs independently with a strong ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.

The role requires hands-on REVIT Electrical experience, MTO preparation, and updating models per vendor drawings, with familiarity in MicroStation and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• 7–25 years of experience in electrical design.
• Basic knowledge of electrical cable tray routing, locating lighting, fixtures and support requirements.
• Hands-on experience in REVIT Electrical (mandatory).
• Preparation and checking of Material Take Off (MTO).
• Updating the model as per vendor drawings.
• Experience with MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Extracting drawings in MicroStation.
• Ability to work from sketches or Excel inputs.
• Minimum 5 years of REVIT design experience (mandatory).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Knowledge of NavisWorks Review.
• Diploma in Electrical or ITI.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical layouts using Revit.
• Update and maintain the electrical model per vendor drawings.
• Prepare and check Material Take Off (MTO).
• Extract drawings in MicroStation and coordinate inputs from sketches/Excel sheets.
