Job summary

Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCE) seeks a skilled Designer/Drafter with 2–7 years of experience in 3D modeling and drafting using Smart Plant 3D, Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools. You will develop 3D models for detailed engineering projects and ensure compliance with drafting standards.

The role includes leading a team of Designers/Draftsmen, coordinating with project teams, and delivering accurate drawings and reports while maintaining client confidence.

Qualifications

• Full-time Diploma minimum in engineering or related field.
• 2–7 years of experience in 3D modeling and drafting.
• Familiar with drafting standards, layers, fonts, sizes, styles, blocks.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models for detailed engineering projects.
• Lead the team of Designers/Draftsmen.

Purpose & Scope of Position

• Expertise in 3D modeling tool: Smart Plant 3D/ Plant 3D/E3D/BIM/Revit/Tekla (RCC & structual) &2D drafting tool: AutoCAD/MicroStation/SP PID,
• Expertise in development of 3D models for detailed engineering projects &Familiar with all the required Drafting Standards like Layers/Fonts/Size/Styles/Blocks
• Expertise in Drawings Extraction like Layout/Sectional/Isometrics
• Expertise in clash report extraction and resolution
• Familiar with Engineering codes and standards
• Familiar with drawing extraction and report extractionFamiliar with drafting standards
• Ability to lead the team of Designers/Draftsman
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Training and mentoring team members
• Ensuring compliance to delivery and people processes
• Generate & maintain client confidence through pro-active corrective & progressive ideas
