About You

We're looking for a Design Intern to join our Creative team. You'll work on live briefs — producing the social graphics, campaign visuals, presentation decks, and brand collateral that represent Kayana across our channels.

This is a hands-on role. You'll sit at the intersection of creative and content, designing the visuals that power our social calendars and campaigns. You'll report to the Creative Lead and work day-to-day alongside the Content Lead and our Content & Social executive.

Responsibilities

• Design static graphics, social media posts, carousel templates, story formats, and promotional visuals for Kayana's brand channels
• Support the Creative Lead in producing on-brand assets for campaigns, product launches, and trade marketing
• Assist with pitch deck and presentation design for internal and client-facing use
• Help maintain and evolve brand identity assets — templates, color palettes, typography, and icon sets
• Work with the Content Lead and Content & Social executive to deliver visuals aligned to the monthly content calendar
• Resize and adapt designs across formats and platforms — feed posts, stories, banners, email headers, thumbnails
• Participate in creative brainstorms and contribute ideas for campaigns and content directions
• Keep the shared asset library organised, version-controlled, and easy for the wider team to navigate
• Take briefs from the marketing team and turn them into clean, polished visual output on time

What We’re Looking For

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related creative field
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or Canva Pro
• A strong eye for layout, typography, and composition — you notice when something is off
• Comfortable working from a brand brief and adapting your style to fit different contexts
• Organised and dependable — able to manage multiple asset requests without dropping the ball
• Genuinely interested in the hospitality and retail tech space
• Confident communicating ideas and taking feedback as part of the process
• Familiarity with Figma or basic motion graphics is a bonus but not required
