Design Estimation Engineer

Job Summary :

The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for interpreting technical data from manuals and AutoCAD files to feed into our specialized software for doors and windows systems. This role is critical for the successful implementation and customization of our software solutions for end customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Interpretation: Read and understand technical manuals related to doors and windows systems.

2. AutoCAD File Analysis: Interpret AutoCAD files to extract relevant technical data.

3. Data Entry: Accurately feed the interpreted data into the software system.

4. Quality Assurance: Verify the accuracy and completeness of the entered data.

5. Customer Interaction: Work closely with the end customer to ensure that the software is implemented as per their requirements.

6. Technical Support: Provide technical support to the sales and implementation teams.

7. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of the data interpretation and entry process.

8. Training: Train other team members and end-users, as necessary.

9. Process Improvement: Continuously look for ways to optimize the data feeding process for scalability and efficiency.

10. Compliance: Ensure all activities are in line with company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD software.
• Good exposure to Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands while meeting tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
