Job summary

AXISCADES in Bengaluru seeks a Design Engineer – Wing Concessions to assess manufacturing non-conformities on wing structures and develop repair solutions aligned with Airbus principles. You will interpret design standards, match client expectations, and collaborate with Stress, Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure feasible, manufacturable designs.

The role requires strong CAD skills (CATIA V5, AutoCAD) and proficiency in MS Word/Excel, with experience in concession documents and delivering

Qualifications

• 5+ years aerospace domain experience.
• Minimum 2+ years Concession Design Engineer.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Proficient in CATIA V5, AIRINA, DPDS, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Perform design assessment of manufacturing non-conformities on primary and secondary wing structures.
• Develop feasible repair/rework solutions in line with Airbus design principles and project needs.
• Interpret and apply design methods and standards.
• Understand client expectations and align design outputs accordingly.
• Collaborate with Stress, Manufacturing and Quality teams for feasibility and manufacturability.
• Prepare and update design deliverables (sketches, CAD models, drawings) supporting concession documents.
• Support junior team members to ensure quality design output.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform design assessment of manufacturing non-conformities on primary and secondary wing structures
• Develop feasible repair/rework solutions in line with Airbus design principles and project needs

• Collaborate closely with Stress, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure structural feasibility and manufacturability
• Prepare and update design deliverables (sketches, CAD models, drawings) supporting concession documents
• Support junior team members to ensure quality design output

Required Skills

• 5+ years of aerospace domain experience
• Minimum 2+ years Concession Design Engineer
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Proficient in CATIA V5, AIRINA, DPDS, AutoCAD

Preferred

• Familiarity with Airbus methodologies and wing structural architecture
• Exposure to Concession Management processes and tools (design deliverable side)
