Qualifications

Responsibilities

• 3D modelling, detailing, GA drawings and plant layouts using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate, execute and communicate all activities related to design, modelling and drafting of equipment.
• Provide drawings required for customer approval, material procurement and manufacturing.
• Contribute to project planning and collaboration with the design team.

Summary

Responsible for Making 3D modelling in Solid works & Detailing, GA Drawings, Plant Layouts using CAD Software such as: Solid works and AutoCAD, coordination, execution, and communication of all activities related to Design, Modelling and drafting of equipments such as Regenerative thermal oxidizer, Thermal oxidizer, WESP, Fuel gas control skid, Biogas plant and water treatment package.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience

• Diploma/Bachelors Degree in mechanical engineering


• 5+ years experience in Product engineering and design of mechanical equipment.


• 3D part modelling of Sheet Metal parts using SolidWorks software.


• Proficiency in Modelling, Assembly & Drafting modules using CAD software such as:, SOLIDWORKs, AUTOCAD.


• Proficiency in making detail drawing with Cut list BOM using weldments.


• Working knowledge & understanding of product development/ manufacturing processes


• Knowledge of weldment, fabrication and structural fabrication including forming, fit-up, and final welding, and related drafting standards


• Knowledge of pipe, pipe flanges, structural shapes, and material specifications


• Ability to interpret and organize technical information, describe, and solve technical problems, interpret and accept instruction from a design lead and/or an engineer.


• Experience working as part of a design team & ability to execute project independently


• Ability to maintain progress on multiple simultaneous tasks, assess accuracy and completeness of own work


• Organize and maintain Product/Project related information in a file that includes the proposal, performance requirements, specifications, etc.

Essential Characteristics

• 3D part modelling of Sheet Metal parts using SolidWorks software.


• Assist in the design of equipment and prepares drawings in accordance with sales proposals, performance requirements, and specifications.


• Quality and timely delivery and effectively manage assigned projects.


• Develop equipment design based on project related information and company standards


• Prepare drawings required for Customer approval, material procurement, and manufacturing.


• Hands‑on 3D associative Modelling, detail drawings, and assemblies (2D sketches, drawings and other inputs)


• Carryout QA/QC check of all deliverables, documents / drawings and ensure the delivery requirements


• Create and Monitor changes in scope of work and raise and resolve change notifications


• Keep continual improvement as a goal and apply Lessons Learnt on the past projects for better performance.
