Position: Junior Design Engineer, Design Engineer Experience: 1–4 Years Location: Hyderabad & Khammam Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Perform electric utility GIS data maintenance activities, including design updates, as-built incorporation, asset validation, and QA. Work on GE Smallworld for maintaining and updating electric utility network data. Interpret as-built drawings, design documents, and engineering information and incorporate updates into GIS. Maintain accurate information related to electric distribution assets, network connectivity, topology, and GIS data. Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards. Identify and resolve connectivity, network, and data-related errors. Ensure GIS data is updated in accordance with defined workflows and client requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to address data discrepancies and complete assigned deliverables within timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

1–4 years of experience in Electric Utility Data Maintenance. Hands-on experience with GE Smallworld GIS. Good understanding of electric distribution assets and utility networks. Experience in GIS data maintenance, updates, and validation. Knowledge of network connectivity and topology. Ability to interpret as-built and design documents. Good understanding of GIS data modelling. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
