Job Responsibilities

• Make and validate design concepts; be an expert in new product development.
• Be an expert in sheet‑metal parts and product development.
• Be proficient in SolidWorks, modeling, detailing, assembly, sheet‑metal, and tubing routing.
• Possess knowledge of manufacturing of sheet‑metal parts and appliance assembly processes.
• Responsible for costing, feasibility evaluation, and execution.
• Lead a team of engineers to adhere to the project scope and plan; have excellent communication skills and ability to handle USA customers and India team.
• Ensure full utilization of allocated resources.
• Lead process improvements and drive cost‑reduction.
• Lead design reviews to improve product performance.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers.
• Meet project timelines and deliver high quality outputs.
• Knowledge of manufacturing/production/assembly processes is an advantage.

Desired Skill Set

• Education – BE preferred; diploma with solid design knowledge considered.
• 5+ years of experience with commercial kitchen appliances, ovens, grills, commercial refrigerator/freezer, viscous coolers, soda dispensers; product experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills; able to work with onsite engineers and customer front end.
• Expertise in sheet metal; medium plastic knowledge preferred.
• Hands‑on experience in part modeling, tubing routing module preferred.
