Johnson Controls in Gurgaon is seeking an AutoCAD ELV Design Engineer to prepare, update, and manage ELV drawings and technical documentation for projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and client requirements.
You will develop shop and as-built drawings for CCTV, access control, structured cabling, fire alarm, and BMS integration, coordinate with ELV, MEP, and site teams, and support on-site verification and red-line updates.
Job Title AutoCAD ELV Design Engineer Job Locations Gurgaon Haryana Job Summary The AutoCAD ELV Engineer is responsible for preparing, updating, and managing ELV (Extra Low Voltage) system drawings and technical documentation for projects. The role includes creating detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, coordination drawings, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
Develop and modify ELV system drawings using AutoCAD. Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
Create layouts for:
Prepare cable routing, containment layouts, and installation details.
Review project specifications, BOQs, and tender documents. Prepare technical documentation and drawing submissions. Maintain drawing registers and revision control. Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements and standards.
Coordinate with ELV Engineers, Project Managers, MEP teams, and site personnel. Resolve design clashes through coordination meetings. Incorporate consultant and client comments into revised drawings. Support site teams with technical drawing clarifications.
Conduct site visits for verification of drawing information. Prepare red‑line markups and update as‑built drawings. Ensure drawings accurately reflect site conditions and changes.
