Job summary

SMEC (an SJ Group company) in Delhi is seeking a Design Engineer with a civil engineering background to support dam design projects. The role involves collaborating with Dam Design Experts and taking on design tasks under team leaders, contributing to safe and efficient water containment structures.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and have at least three years of experience in concrete and embankment dam projects, spillways, and appurtenant structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in design of concrete and embankment dams, spillways and appurtenant structures.
• Experience assisting design experts and supporting design tasks under TL/DTL or Project In-charge.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dam Design Experts and Dam Safety Experts in various design-related activities.
• Support in design tasks as assigned by Team Leader (TL)/Deputy Team Leader (DTL) or the Project In-charge.
• Provide technical assistance for any other design-related assignments as directed.
