Job summary

PERI GmbH Formwork Scaffolding Engineering in Rajasthan, India is seeking a dedicated civil engineer to develop cost-effective formwork and scaffolding solutions. This role involves performing structural calculations and preparing technical drawings using AutoCAD.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Developing cost-effective formwork, shoring, and scaffolding solutions
• Interaction with the Sales and Engineering Leaders to provide the most effective design for the customer
• Perform strength calculations for both standard PERI products and customised materials
• Conduct structural analysis to ensure optimised design, including:
  • Design and control formwork based on concrete pressure and other factors, such as upward pressure
  • Design and control support structures
  • Utilise PERI's proprietary software to perform structural calculations for scaffolding and simple beams and columns.
• Preparing formwork and working drawings for various concrete structures with AutoCAD
• Ensure that all solutions are safe, technically accurate, and cost-effective

What you'll need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional background
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft 365 applications
• Solid and comprehensive understanding of structural static analysis and related calculations
  • Hands‑on experience with the following software tools:
    • AutoCAD 2D/3D design
    • Revit or other comparable BIM software
    • Inventor or other structural/mechanical analysis software (e.g., RFEM)
• Ability to work independently and deliver results according to project timelines
• Fluent in Mandarin (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) with Business-level English communication and writing skills.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
• 2–3 years of job‑site practical experience is an advantage.
