Job summary

Lattice Semiconductor in Pune, India, is seeking a senior Design Engineer to own RTL design and microarchitecture for the processor subsystem, including embedded MCU cores, bus fabric, and DMA infrastructure.

You will collaborate with architecture and firmware teams to define microarchitecture, drive timing/power/area targets, and lead end-to-end design from microarchitecture through tapeout in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IC design experience with leadership in a subsystem or complex block.
• Expertise in embedded processor subsystem design (ARM Cortex-M, RISC-V, or equivalent).
• Proficient in SystemVerilog RTL and power intent (UPF/CPF).
• Experience in SoC integration and selecting 3rd party IP.

Responsibilities

• Own RTL design and microarchitecture of the processor subsystem, including embedded MCU cores, bus fabric, and DMA infrastructure.
• Work with Architecture team to define microarchitecture and specs.
• Drive RTL implementation, CDC/RDC/SDC closure, and DFT insertion for the subsystem.
• Collaborate with firmware team and DV/PD leads to meet chip-level timing, power, and area targets.
• Mentor junior designers within the team.
