Job summary

Intelizign Lifecycle Services in India seeks a Design Release Engineer - Tire & Wheel with 4-6 years of overall experience and at least 2 years in tire design and development for tire manufacturers or passenger cars. The role focuses on engineering design and development of chassis components, including wheels and tires, for current and new programs.

Responsibilities include understanding wheel and tire testing and homologation requirements, and applying DFMEA, DVP&R, control plans, and PPAP

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of overall experience in Design Release or related engineering roles.
• Minimum 2 years in Tire Design and Development for tires manufacturer or passenger cars.
• Basic experience with UG/NX/Catia V5 modeling and PLM tools.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Design & Development of chassis components (steel wheels, aluminum wheels, tires, wheel bolts, wheel & tire assembly).
• Understand wheel & tire testing, development & homologation requirements.
• Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, control plan, PPAP and product development processes.
• Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes and tooling; casting, sheet metal, forging.
• Simulate manufacturing processes (sheet metal forming, casting-mold fill).

Position Title: Design Release Engineer - Tire & wheel

Experience: 4 to 6 years of overall experience

Minimum 2 years of Tire Design and Development experience with Tire manufacturer or at passenger car

Basic Experience in UG/NXCatia V5 modeling , PLM, Team center.

Role & responsibilities
