Bloomingdale International School in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh invites applications for an experienced MYP Design and DP Digital Technology Teacher. The role focuses on engaging, concept-driven instruction within IB programs and hands-on, project-based learning.

The ideal candidate will design experiences using Python, Scratch, Arduino, TinkerCAD, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite, guiding students through the IB Design Cycle and authentic assessments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of teaching experience, with IB MYP or DP experience preferred (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in design thinking, digital tools, and educational technology.
• Strong understanding of IB frameworks including ATL skills and global contexts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and concept-driven instruction in MYP Design and DP Digital Society/Technology.
• Implement the IB Design Cycle and guide students through digital and product-based projects.

• Participate in IB-accredited training and contribute to school-wide initiatives and professional learning.

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic educator to join our faculty as an MYP Design and DP Digital Technology Teacher. The ideal candidate must have prior experience teaching the IB MYP or DP curriculum, and a passion for fostering innovation, critical thinking, and student agency through hands-on, project-based learning.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of teaching experience, with at least one year of IB MYP or DP experience (mandatory).
• Proficiency in design thinking, digital tools, and educational technology.
• Strong understanding of IB frameworks including ATL skills and global contexts.
• IB training or certification in MYP Design and/or DP Digital Society is an advantage.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
