Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Vector tools: CANalyzer, CANoe, vTESTstudio, CANoe.DiVa.
• Experience with dSPACE platforms and HIL/SIL testing environments.
• Proficiency in test automation using Python, CAPL and MATLAB.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate EV system behavior across Powertrain ECUs, VCU, BMS, MCU, and instruments.
• Develop, automate and maintain test cases for functional, integration and regression testing.
• Design, implement and manage HIL environments and tool chains for EV controllers.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability from requirements to test execution and defects.
• Prepare test plans, scripts, reports and issue logs; contribute to quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product development lifecycle.

Deputy Manager - Software Testing & HIL Validation

Role Overview The role focuses on the testing and validation of Electric Vehicle (EV) systems, with a strong emphasis on Battery Management Systems (BMS) , Vehicle Control Units (VCU) , Motor Control Units (MCU) , and other EV controllers. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing HIL environments, automating test cases, and ensuring compliance with automotive standards. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability, performance, and safety of next-generation electric mobility solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. 1. EV System Understanding Analyze and validate the functional behavior of EV systems, including: Powertrain ECUs Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) Battery Management System (BMS) Motor Control Unit (MCU) Instrument Cluster
2. 2. Battery & EV Vehicle System Knowledge Understand battery functional requirements, vehicle specifications, and key performance parameters Support testing and validation activities based on system requirements
3. 3. HIL Environment Development Design, develop, and maintain HIL setups using Vector tools, including: CANoe CANalyzer vTESTstudio CANoe.DiVa Work with dSPACE platforms for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing Integrate EV controllers into HIL systems for software testing and validation
4. 4. Requirement Analysis & Automation Interpret system-level requirements and convert them into automated test cases Ensure end-to-end traceability from requirements through test execution and defect management
5. 5. Test Case Development Develop and automate test cases based on system requirements for: Functional testing Integration testing Regression testing
6. 6. Documentation & Reporting Prepare and maintain: Test plans Test cases Test reports Issue logs Best-practice documents Lessons learned documentation
7. 7. Test Execution & Analysis Execute manual and automated tests on HIL systems for: VCU MCU BMS Instrument Cluster Analyze test results and identify defects Support debugging activities in collaboration with development teams
8. 8. HIL Infrastructure Management Design, simulate, and maintain scalable, reliable, and robust HIL infrastructure
