Department: Supply Chain Management (SCM)

  • Lead and manage the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, ensuring procurement activities are executed as per defined organizational targets and within compliance frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with suppliers; monitor supplier performance to ensure consistent adherence to quality, cost, and delivery benchmarks.

Inventory & Operations Management

  • Design and implement inventory control strategies to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and avoid stockouts or overstock scenarios.
  • Oversee critical inventory parameters such as:
  • Expiry and shelf-life management
  • Obsolescence control and slow-moving inventory analysis
  • Work within an MRP-driven (Material Requirements Planning) environment, leveraging SAP S/4HANA for procurement planning, and inventory tracking.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor a team of 4–5 buyers, ensuring high performance, skill development, and adherence to best practices in procurement and inventory operations.
  • Work closely with stakeholders from Sourcing, Production, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, and Engineering functions to drive alignment, efficiency, and responsiveness across the supply chain.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives including New Product Introductions (NPI) and Change Management, ensuring timely material availability and procurement readiness.

Analytics, Reporting & Cost Optimization

  • Analyze procurement and inventory KPIs to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency, reducing lead times, and optimizing working capital.
  • Prepare and present periodic Management Information Systems (MIS) reports for senior leadership reviews, highlighting performance metrics, risks, and improvement plans.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for data analysis and reporting.
  • High proficiency in supply chain metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
