MISSION

To lead the industrialization of the new P1
To improve the production efficiency (machine & direct labor) within his scope
To capitalize and share the know-how of industrial processes in his domain
To participate in the design of new equipment and new lines
To lead Lean design workshops

Industrialization

To manage the introduction of production equipment using IPROM
To oversee equipment or assembly line development with suppliers
To design small tools and validate supplier proposals
To define acceptance criteria for new equipment or lines
To perform pre-acceptance and acceptance tests of equipment
To conduct trials on lines and deliver reports
To build action plans and follow up to be ready for FDPR
To perform and/or collect data on equipment and process capabilities
To set up equipment and propose a PROCESS VALIDATION PLAN
To participate in PFMEA and CONTROL PLAN activities

Mass Production

To monitor QCDM and propose improvements
To survey equipment performance with a focus on optimization
To work on cycle time reduction to optimize investments, materials, and labor costs
To update routing in the information system with SPV validation
To support production technicians (training, analysis, problem solving)
To liaise with suppliers for improvements and support
To participate in SPV workshops
To participate in APU QRQC

Standardization

To validate PG RAISE and CdC standards created by Standard Owners
To validate any standard changes proposed by sites
To know, apply, and promote standards (PG, sites, or corporate) within his domain
To apply SPV rules

Environment

To ensure compliance with Safety and Environment procedures of Valeo Group
To maintain 5S and report issues
To alert for safety rule infringements
