Esyasoft in India is seeking an Operations Manager – Meter Installation to plan, execute, and monitor large-scale smart meter installation projects under AMISP. You will lead field teams, coordinate with DISCOMs, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The role demands extensive experience in utility operations and project management, with a focus on installation excellence, resource optimization, dashboards, and stakeholder communication to meet targets and regulatory requirements.

Competenze

• Must have a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• MBA/Operations preferred for broader operational oversight.
• Experience with large-scale utility meter deployment and field operations.

Job Description:

The Operations Manager – Meter Installation is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring large-scale smart meter installation activities under AMISP projects. The role ensures achievement of installation targets, adherence to quality and safety standards, resource optimization, and effective coordination with DISCOMs, vendors, and field teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end smart meter installation and replacement operations across assigned project locations.


• Develop installation plans and deployment strategies to achieve project milestones and productivity targets.


• Manage field installation teams, supervisors, contractors, and vendor partners.


• Monitor daily installation progress, commissioning status, and meter activation performance.


• Ensure adherence to installation SOPs, quality standards, and safety guidelines.


• Coordinate with DISCOM officials, consumers, local authorities, and project stakeholders for smooth execution.


• Track manpower productivity, material utilization, and project resource requirements.


• Resolve field-level operational challenges and elevate critical issues as required.


• Ensure timely availability of meters, accessories, installation kits, and related materials.


• Monitor installation quality through audits and corrective action mechanisms.


• Review operational dashboards and generate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.


• Drive process improvements to enhance installation efficiency and customer experience.


• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, SLAs, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.


• MBA/Operations Management qualification is an added advantage.

Experience

• 8 to 15 years of experience in utility operations, smart metering, power distribution, or large-scale field deployment projects.


• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience managing meter installation or field operations teams.


• Experience in AMISP, AMI, RDSS, or Smart Grid projects is preferred.

Requirements:
