Job summary

Adani Group is seeking a mechanical engineer for maintenance leadership in a high-competitiveness plant environment in India. The role focuses on CAPA execution in turbined areas, pumps, piping and valves, and requires alignment with JSA and long-term predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.

You will provide input to maintenance plans, manage budgets, and collaborate across departments to optimize plant performance and spare parts availability while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires ME/MTech in mechanical engineering.
• Total 5-12 years of experience.
• No recruitment fees; legitimate Adani Group listing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe working in the assigned area during the entire shift.
• Implement CAPA in turbined area, pumps, piping and valves.
• Work in accordance with JSA and maintain maintenance standards.
• Contribute to long-term maintenance plans using predictive & preventive principles.
• Provide budget inputs and help control costs to meet annual budgets.
• Interface with other departments to support PLF, heat rate, and goals.
• Maintain inventory levels and balance spare parts availability with value.
• Aim for continual improvement in equipment and system performance.
• Coordinate with service providers to get work done and document the job.

Job description

• Execute innovative plant maintenance standards required to remain competitive.
• Provide input to long term maintenance plans based on predictive & preventive maintenance principles.
• Provide budget inputs and control cost to maintain yearly budgets
• Interface with other departments in supporting plant PLF, Heat Rate, and other important goals.
• Support to maintain optimum inventory level while keeping balance between inventory value and availability of critical spares.
• Ensure continual improvement in equipment and system performance.
• Get work done through service provider.
• Maintain necessary document for the job.
• Quality parameter’s to be achieved through best maintenance practices.
