ZF’s Commercial Vehicle Solutions division is seeking a Deputy Manager - Machine Mechanical Designer (m/f/d) to drive concept and detail design for assembly line test rigs. The role involves creating drawings for assembly lines, and designing SPMs and mechanical items with pneumatic and hydraulic considerations.

The ideal candidate should have 4–6 years of machine design experience and be proficient in Creo 9.0 and AutoCAD Mechanical 2022, applying solid design principles.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in machine design and development.
• Follow up with suppliers for development of machines.
• Proficiency in Creo 9.0 and AutoCAD Mechanical 2022.
• Knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Concept design and detail design for assembly line test rigs.
• Preparation of drawings for the assembly line and test rigs.
• Design of special purpose machines, special mechanical items, pneumatic items.
• Knowledge of selection of electrical components like servo motors, sensors, cameras etc., as per requirements.
• Selection of pneumatic and hydraulic components used in the machines as per the requirement.
• Knowledge of hydraulic elements and selection criteria.
• Inspection of parts as per the design and drawings.
• Conducting trials on the machines and review meetings with the parties concerned.

• Preparation of Concept design, detail design for Assembly line Test rigs.
• Preparation of drawings (AutoCAD, Creo 4) for the assembly line and test rigs.
• Design of Special Purpose machines, Special mechanical items, Pneumatic items
• Knowledge of Selection of STD mechanical items Selection of electricals items like servo motors, sensors, cameras etc., as per the requirements
• Selection of Pneumatic and hydraulic components used in the machines as per the requirement
• Knowledge of Hydraulic elements and selection criteria.
• Inspection of parts as per the design and drawings.
• Conducting trials on the machines review meetings with the parties concerned.

Your Profile as Deputy Manager - Machine Mechanical Designer (m/f/d):
