Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; MBA preferred.
• 12-15 years of experience in Solar/Wind Project Development and Project Management.
• Strong experience in land acquisition, connectivity planning, project feasibility, financial evaluation, and stakeholder management.
• Sound understanding of regulatory approvals, grid connectivity, project execution, and cost management.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop Solar/Wind project opportunities, including connectivity and land acquisition assessment.
• Evaluate CTU/STU connectivity options and coordinate project development activities across targeted states.
• Conduct feasibility studies, financial analysis, due diligence, and business case preparation for new projects.
• Coordinate with Land, Legal, Engineering, SCM, Finance, and Project Execution teams for seamless project development.
• Manage statutory approvals, land-related documentation, lease/sale agreements, and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and monitor progress from development through commissioning.
• Lead periodic reviews with cross-functional teams and drive timely resolution of project risks and challenges.
• Support lender due diligence, project financing activities, and management approvals.
• Prepare project CAPEX estimates, monitor budgets, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, budget, quality, and compliance requirements.

Job Description

Deputy General Manager – Project Development (Solar/Wind)

Location: Gurugram
Experience: 12-15 Years

Key Responsibilities
