Job summary

Royal Enfield is seeking a Deputy Manager - Functional Excellence (Sourcing & Logistics) to bridge Supply Chain/Sourcing, Master Data Management, and IT. You will own SAP MM production support, drive process improvements, manage UAT, and deliver SCM MIS/Power BI dashboards in a 24/7 manufacturing setup.

The role requires 6+ years in SAP MM, MD, and analytics within manufacturing/ automotive, with SAP MM certification and exposure to full lifecycle implementations and GRC/audit compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech in any engineering specialization with formal SAP MM certification/training.
• Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience in SAP MM functional support, Master Data Management, and supply chain analytics in a manufacturing/automotive environment.
• Preferred Attributes: Exposure to full-lifecycle SAP implementation/rollout, GRC compliance management, and 24/7 production environment support.

Responsibilities

• 24/7 escalation support for SAP MM/MRP issues, analyse SCM processes, gather requirements, and implement solutions with IT and external partners.
• Manage Material Master Data, lead UAT for system upgrades, create SOPs, and conduct end-user training for IT stability.
• Prepare MIS reports, executive presentations, and Power BI dashboards tracking sourcing, inventory, and SC metrics.

Job Description:

The Deputy Manager - Functional Excellence (S&L) acts as the bridge between Supply Chain/Sourcing operations, Master Data Management, and IT. Leveraging deep expertise in the SAP MM module, procurement workflows, Material Master Data, MRP, and data analytics, this role leads production support, drives business process improvements, manages UAT testing, and delivers critical SCM management reporting (MIS/Power BI). The incumbent oversees day-to-day functional escalation for a 24/7 manufacturing environment, ensures compliance with GRC/audit standards, and leads team deliverables aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP MM Production Support & Process Improvement: Provide 24/7 escalation support for complex SAP MM/MRP issues, analyze SCM business processes, gather requirements, and implement solutions with IT and external vendor partners.

Master Data & System Implementation: Manage Material Master Data, lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades/enhancements, create SOPs, and conduct end-user training to ensure IT solution stability.

MIS Reporting & Advanced Analytics: Prepare monthly/quarterly MIS reports, executive presentations, and Power BI dashboards tracking key sourcing, inventory, and supply chain metrics.
