Qualifications

• 4-6 years of related experience; Insurance or Financial Services experience preferred.
• Law graduate (LLB) preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability and passion to understand and interpret laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and timely submission of regulatory reports to IRDAI, DFS, PFRDA and other regulators.
• Review and vet advertisements and disclosures for regulatory compliance.
• Support Advertisement Committee governance, track actions and provide insights.
• Track policies for Board/Committee approvals and ensure timely implementation.
• Drive automation across compliance processes including reporting, tracking, and review workflows.
• Provide advisory support to business on regulatory requirements and compliance interpretation.
• Conduct Compliance Clinic visits and deliver trainings to raise awareness and build a compliance culture.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and regulators for audits and inspections.

JOB SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for managing end-to-end compliance activities with a focus on advertisement and disclosure review, regulatory reporting, governance processes, and compliance culture building. The incumbent will coordinate with multiple departments and regulators, support Advertisement Committee governance, ensure timely and accurate regulatory submissions, drive automation in compliance workflows, and strengthen organizational compliance awareness through trainings and engagement programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Regulatory Compliance & Reporting

• Preparation, review and timely submission of regulatory reports to IRDAI, DFS, PFRDA, IIB, NCFE and other applicable regulators.
• Coordination with cross-functional teams for data gathering, validation, and consolidation for regulatory submissions.
• Ensuring adherence to regulatory timelines through structured follow-ups, reminders, and escalation mechanisms.
• Conducting preliminary review of submissions to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable guidelines.

Advertisement & Disclosure Compliance

• Review and vetting of advertisements, marketing creatives, and disclosures to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
• Identification and mitigation of compliance risks in marketing and promotional communications.
• Keeping abreast of regulatory changes related to advertisements and disclosures and ensuring implementation.

Advertisement Committee Governance

• Participation in Advertisement Committee meetings.
• Preparation and consolidation of agenda items, supporting documents, and actionable insights.
• Tracking action points and ensuring closure within defined timelines.

Policy Governance & Board Processes

• Tracking of policies for Board/Committee approvals.
• Ensuring periodic review, updates, and implementation of policies in line with evolving regulations.

Process Improvement & Automation

• Driving automation initiatives across compliance processes including reporting, tracking, and review workflows.
• Enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and audit readiness through technology-enabled solutions.

Compliance Advisory

• Providing advisory support to business and functional teams on regulatory requirements and compliance interpretation.
• Assisting in implementation of new regulations and internal compliance frameworks.

Compliance Culture & Training

• Conducting “Compliance Clinic” visits across branches to drive awareness and adherence.
• Delivering periodic functional training sessions (e.g., Marketing, E-commerce, etc.).
• Facilitating Compliance Ambassadors Program and acting as SPOC for allocated departments.
• Promoting a culture of proactive compliance across the organization.

Monitoring & Coordination

• Continuous follow-up with stakeholders for compliance deliverables.
• Maintaining trackers, dashboards, and MIS related to compliance activities.
• Supporting audits and regulatory inspections by providing required data and documentation.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• 4-6 years of related experience. Insurance or Financial Services Experience preferred.
• Law Graduate (LLB) will be preferred for this role.
