Job summary

Adani Power Limited in Korba, Chhattisgarh, seeks an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead planning and execution of large-scale power infrastructure, from initiation to commissioning, ensuring timelines, quality, and budget adherence.

You will supervise site activities, review drawings, manage vendors, uphold safety and environmental standards, control costs, manage risks, and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• 7–10 years of progressive civil engineering project management experience in the Power/Energy sector.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and site execution capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee civil project planning and execution from initiation to commissioning.
• Supervise site activities, enforce safety protocols, and ensure quality and environmental standards.
• Review and approve civil drawings, designs, and specifications for compliance and best practices.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for procurement and resource allocation.
• Implement quality assurance and cost-control measures to meet timelines and budgets.
• Identify and mitigate risks, maintaining project progression and audit readiness.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide progress reports to stakeholders.
• Foster collaboration between project teams, regulators, and internal departments.
• Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and adoption of new technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and site staff to promote accountability and teamwork.

Project Planning & Execution: Lead the civil engineering activities from project initiation to commissioning, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.

• Site Management: Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring safety protocols, construction methods, and environmental standards are strictly followed in alignment with Adani’s safety-first culture.
• Technical Supervision: Review and approve civil engineering drawings, designs, and specifications, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and industry best practices.
• Vendor and Contractor Management: Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure material procurement, resource allocation, and work execution are aligned with project requirements.
• Quality Assurance & Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to ensure all civil works meet the highest standards of quality and durability.
• Cost Management: Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and monitor expenditures to optimize resource utilization without compromising quality or timelines.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to civil construction activities and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project progression.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including progress reports, compliance records, and technical documentation to facilitate transparency and audit readiness.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between project teams, clients, regulatory authorities, and internal departments to foster effective communication and ensure project alignment with organizational goals.

Education Qualification
