Job summary

ADCC Global seeks a Deputy General Manager - Engineering in Mahad to lead the Engineering function for LOIL Site 3. You will oversee maintenance across utility, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation to maximize plant uptime and cost efficiency.

You will plan predictive and preventive maintenance using SAP, drive TPM practices, and manage the annual budget while ensuring ISO and safety compliance. Strong leadership and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical
• 15 years of experience in engineering within chemical plants
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams and TPM

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise predictive and preventive maintenance schedules
• Improve uptime and reliability of plant and utility equipment
• Manage annual maintenance budget and ensure cost control
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and PSM
• Lead site projects from planning through execution within time and budget
• Mentor and oversee multidisciplinary maintenance teams
• Ensure on-site project activities and resource utilization are efficient

Job description

Designation: Deputy General Manager - Engineering

Office Location: Mahad

Position description: To lead the Engineering function of LOIL Site 3. To ensure smooth & cost-efficient maintenance activities of all Engineering sub functions like Utility, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation etc to ensure maximum uptime of the plants

Primary Responsibilities

• Planning and effecting predictive & preventive maintenance schedules through SAP with proactive steps to reduce the down time of plant & utility equipment to increase machine up time & equipment reliability. Conversant with MTTR, MTBF processes.
• Proactively identifying the areas of obstruction /breakdowns and taking steps to rectify the equipment through application of troubleshooting tools. Taking corrective measures for process enhancement
• Preparing annual maintenance budget and adhering to the budget with proper tracking mechanism
• Compliance and documentation for ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, OMS and PSM checklist
• Carrying out advance planning for resource mobilization, manpower deployment and rendering technical support;ensuring the execution of site projects within time, cost & budgetary parameters
• Anchoring on-site project activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effectiveresource utilisation to maximise the output
• Leading, mentoring & monitoring the performance of the team members to ensure efficiency in process operationsand meeting of individual & group targets.
• Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities and motivates highperformance amongst team members
• Ensure timely statutory compliance of Engineering activities.

• Experience in hazardous chemical batches processes.
• Must have handle different type of MOC mainly, glass lined, graphite and SS.
• Exposure to the maintenance of various Equipments like CSTR, PFR, crystallizers, various filters and dryers
• Exposure to various utilities mainly CPP, process boilers, chilling systems with various brine solutions.
• Basic Business Excellence activities like 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean Management, TPM, TQM, EnergyConservation etc.
