Job summary

Placement Partners is seeking a Deputy General Manager Legal to lead RERA compliance, customer documentation, registrations and CRM-related legal support for residential projects. The role requires overseeing filings, agreements, conveyance deeds and association matters while coordinating with internal teams and external authorities.

The incumbent will act as the primary legal interface for customers, monitor regulatory changes, and guide risk mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project

Responsibilities

• Manage RERA registrations, filings, renewals and Form B submissions for residential projects.
• Draft, review and finalize Agreements to Sell, conveyance deeds and deeds.
• Coordinate end-to-end registration processes with customers, internal teams and authorities.
• Lead formation and registration of apartment owners associations, including bye-laws and resolutions.
• Serve as legal interface for customers on registrations, title documents and transactions.
• Identify regulatory risks and propose mitigation measures to Head Legal.

Leading Real Estate firm hiring Deputy General Manager Legal who will lead legal activities relating to RERA compliance, customer documentation, property registration, apartment owners associations and CRM matters. The role requires hands-on expertise in RERA filings, Agreements to Sell, sale deed, registration processes, Form B filings, association formation and elections, statutory compliance, and customer-facing legal support.

Roles & responsibilities:

• Manage RERA registrations, filings, renewals, disclosures, Form B submissions and ongoing statutory requirements for residential projects.
• Monitor real estate and land-development laws, assess business impact, and advise stakeholders on regulatory risks and opportunities.
• Maintain current records of statutory requirements, regulatory bodies, government authorities and relevant legal documentation.
• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize Agreements to Sell, , conveyance deeds, declarations, undertakings.
• Manage the end-to-end registration process with customers, internal teams, vendors and registration authorities.
• Undertake searches of records maintained by Revenue Departments, municipalities, registration offices and other authorities.
• Serve as the legal interface for customers on agreements, registrations, title documents, association matters and transaction-related queries.
• Lead the formation and registration of apartment owners associations, including preparation of applications, bye-laws, declarations, resolutions and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with Sales, CRM, Finance, Projects, external counsel, consultants, banks, vendors and government authorities.
• Support contract-management processes and maintain accurate legal trackers, repositories and management reports.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks, recommend mitigation measures, and escalat material matters to the Head Legal.
