Adani Enterprises Ltd in India seeks a Deputy General Manager - Information Technology to define and execute the enterprise Data & Analytics strategy, aligning it with business goals and leading data governance, analytics, BI and AI initiatives.

You will architect cloud-native data ecosystems (Azure, Databricks), design scalable ETL pipelines, advance lakehouse platforms, drive MDM and data quality, and oversee Power BI reporting and AI/ML workstreams to deliver actionable insights for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS or related discipline.
• 15–20+ years of IT experience.
• Proven experience in Data & Analytics with at least one enterprise-grade platform.
• Strong expertise in Azure or GCP-based data/analytics platforms.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

• Lead data governance, analytics, BI, and AI initiatives.

Lead the overall data roadmap covering data governance, analytics, BI, and AI initiatives.

Data Architecture & Engineering Architect and implement cloud-native data ecosystems using Microsoft Azure and Databricks.

Design and build scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.

Develop and manage modern lakehouse architectures and enterprise data platforms.

Data Governance & Quality Establish and enforce enterprise-wide data governance frameworks and standards.

Drive Master Data Management (MDM) and data quality initiatives across business functions.

Analytics, BI & AI/ML Oversee enterprise reporting, dashboards, and insights using Power BI.

Lead AI/ML initiatives leveraging Azure ML, Vertex AI, and Databricks MLFlow.

Enable advanced analytics and predictive insights for business stakeholders.

Desired Qualification Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
