Job summary

Apollo Health and Lifestyle (AHLL) is seeking a Dental Assistant to support chair-side procedures, prepare treatment areas, sterilize instruments, and coordinate with dentists during proceedings. The role includes scheduling, patient education, and assisting with billing and clinic activities.

The ideal candidate has chair-side experience in dental clinics or is a fresher with a learning attitude and a team spirit. SSC or higher qualification is required;- preference for 1–3 years’ experience.

• SSC or above qualification.
• Freshers welcome; preference for 1–3 years.

Responsibilities

• Receive patients, comfort them in the dental chair and prepare them for treatments and procedures.
• Sterilize dental instruments.
• Prepare the work area for patient treatment by setting out instruments and materials.
• Help dentists by handing them instruments during procedures.
• Coordinate with dentist throughout the case in holding suction hose and other equipment.
• Instruct patients in proper dental hygiene practices.
• Process X-rays and complete lab tasks under the direction of a dentist.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Equipment maintenance and cleaning of the dental chair and setup as per standards.
• Cleaning.
• Patient coordination and follow up; repeat calling.
• Support billing and other clinic activities.
• Inventory management.
• Maintain friendly relationships with staff of other departments of the hospital.
