Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Denodo Developer to design, develop, and maintain data virtualization solutions using the Denodo Platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data integration, SQL development, performance optimization, and data modeling. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers and architects to deliver scalable and high-performance virtualized data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data virtualization solutions using the Denodo Platform.
• Create and maintain Denodo Virtual Dataports, Views, Derived Views, and Data Services.
• Integrate data from multiple heterogeneous sources including databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and flat files.
• Optimize Denodo queries and virtual views for improved performance and scalability.
• Implement Denodo caching strategies and query optimization techniques.
• Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services through Denodo.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and production support activities.
• Monitor Denodo server performance and troubleshoot data access issues.
• Develop technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational guides.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Denodo Data Virtualization Platform.
• Advanced SQL and query optimization skills.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, Redshift, or DB2.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience integrating data using REST APIs, SOAP services, XML, and JSON.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and access control mechanisms.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AWS cloud platform.
• Knowledge of Teradata/Snowflake.
• Experience implementing Denodo caching and scheduler jobs.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Denodo certification is preferred.
• 8+ years of overall data integration experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on Denodo development experience.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in Data Warehousing and Data Lake architectures.
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other BI reporting tools.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale data modernization projects.
