Job summary

Mensa Brands in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India is seeking an Inventory Planner to develop and maintain forecasting models, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels across categories.

You will monitor inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and generate performance reports while collaborating with cross-functional teams on launches and promotions.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years' experience in planning in any industry is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain inventory planning models to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust replenishment parameters to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
• Identify and address potential inventory shortages or excesses proactively to avoid disruptions in supply chain operations.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components to meet production schedules.
• Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
• Generate reports and analysis on inventory performance, including key metrics such as fill rate, stockout rates, and days of cover.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support new product launches, promotions, and other business initiatives.
