Job summary

Rempact is seeking a Demand Planner to manage demand forecasts, replenishment for D2C and marketplace channels, and inventory health in a fast-paced fashion startup.

You will analyze trends, coordinate with sourcing and design teams, and maintain accurate stock levels across sizes and colors to minimize returns and obsolescence.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or merchandise planning in fashion/apparel.
• Strong Excel/Sheets skills and ability to read sales data for forward signals.
• Exposure to quick-commerce or D2C channels is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on sales trends, seasonality, channel mix and market signals across product categories.
• Build and own replenishment plan for D2C, marketplace and quick-commerce channels including Blinkit.
• Analyze sell-through, stockouts, and excess inventory to improve forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with design and merchandising to align launches with inventory timelines.
• Monitor weekly slow-moving and fast-moving SKUs and provide actionable recommendations.
• Maintain size and color ratio planning to minimize returns and overstock.
• Track supplier lead times and coordinate with sourcing for timely inflows.
• Prepare weekly and monthly inventory health reports for leadership.
• Build and manage Open-to-Buy budgets with finance.
• Support channel-specific inventory planning for Blinkit/Zepto with high-velocity SKUs.

Position: Demand Planner

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Experience Required: 3-5 years

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on current sales trends, seasonality, channel mix, and market signals across all product categories (shapewear, bras, lingerie accessories)
• Build and own the replenishment plan for D2C, marketplace, and quick-commerce channels including Blinkit
• Analyze sell-through rates, stockout patterns, and excess inventory to continuously improve forecast accuracy
• Collaborate with the design and merchandising team to align new launches with inventory timelines
• Monitor and flag slow-moving and fast-moving SKUs on a weekly basis, and make actionable recommendations
• Maintain size and color ratio planning across categories to minimize returns and overstock

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or merchandise planning in the clothing or fashion industry
• Graduate from NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) — preferred
• Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; experience with planning tools like Increff, Unicommerce, or similar is a plus
• Hands-on experience with demand forecasting models — trend analysis, moving averages, seasonality adjustments
• Understanding of apparel-specific challenges: size curves, color depth, style lifecycle management
• Ability to read sales data and derive forward-looking signals — not just report what happened
• Exposure to quick-commerce or D2C channels is a strong advantage
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with lean teams and high ownership
