Senior Manager, Software Engineer IT (M9)

What you’ll achieve

As a Software Engineer Senior Manager, you will understand the technology environment and business functions and apply your knowledge of programming, technologies, and processes to develop and maintain business applications.

You will:

1. Direct the efforts of the team towards achievement of strategic and operational objectives
2. Act as a subject matter expert and advisor for specialized programs, systems, and critical technologies
3. Assume a lead role within a major project and determine project approach, system scope, resource allotment and budget planning to meet complex business requirements
4. Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand critical business success factors and key performance indicators
5. Manage and support the career growth of your direct reports

Essential Requirements

1. Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
2. Delivers best of breed products and tools that enable Dell business partners to serve and delight customers
3. Deliver key business portfolio commitments of CS Engagement and Content Product Line to achieve critical strategic business outcomes
4. Continuously optimize TCO by simplifying our ecosystems and tools and by moving to modern and self-servicing infrastructures/platforms for high system availability and performance
5. Maintain a strong culture of innovation, creativity, and fun

Desirable Requirements

1. 10+ years of IT experience in MSFT, Java/J2EE or Oracle Technologies
2. Functional Understanding of Supply Chain Management, Imaging or Software licensing experience would be preferred
