Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead and scale our Data Engineering teams. In this role, you will bridge technical execution, strategic project management, and client leadership. You will oversee end-to-end delivery of complex data architecture, data pipelines, and analytics solutions while mentoring technical leads and managing stakeholder communications.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data engineering, data warehousing, and cloud data platform projects.
• Manage project scope, schedules, risks, resource allocation, and budget trackings using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Establish clear delivery KPIs, metrics, and governance frameworks across technical teams.

Technical Leadership & Architecture Strategy

• Guide and align data engineering teams in building robust ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, and streaming systems (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, AWS/Azure Data services).
• Ensure adherence to data security, privacy (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.), quality standards, and architectural best practices.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

• Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing transparent delivery updates and risk mitigation strategies.
• Line-manage, mentor, and foster professional development for data engineers, tech leads, and Scrum Masters.

Required Qualifications

• 7–12 years of overall IT experience, with at least 3+ years in a delivery management or technical program management role focused on Data Engineering/Data Platforms.
• Deep hands‑on background or strong technical grasp of SQL, Python/Scala, modern cloud data architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and data warehousing tools.
• Proven track record in Agile/Scrum delivery management with tool expertise in Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.
• Excellent written, verbal, and executive presentation skills.
