Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Delivery Operations Specialist in India to support Record to Report activities and accounting standards compliance. You will manage operations, review transactions, and drive process improvements to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

The role requires 7 to 11 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting and a strong grasp of general ledger and month-end close processes.

What would you do?

• In this role you are required to do manage operations for the client and ensure timely and accurate delivery, meet the SLAs and KPIs, review and approve accounting transactions, identify areas of improvement and transformation and implement ideas to deliver value add. Generally, interacts with peers and or management levels at a client and or within Accenture. Decisions often impact the team in which they reside
• You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. The Record to Report team helps clients and organizations in their operational efficiency and balance sheet integrity, cuts time to close and safeguards compliance with SOX and other control requirements. Inte . International accounting standards guide the reporting of various transactions and events in financial statements. The Record to Report Team is responsible for general accounting, month end close and reporting performing SOX and other operational controls. This role requires a solid understanding of general ledger accounting, month end close and reporting activities.

What are we looking for?

• Primary skill - Accounting & Financial Reporting Standards - P4
• Posting journal entries, preparing reports, Reviewing entries and reconciliations
• Supporting month-end closing activities including banking, fixed assets and intercompany accounting
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing cash forecasting statements
• Supporting audit processes

Roles and Responsibilities:

• In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems.
• May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures.
• The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
• Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor.
• May interact with peers and or management levels at a client and or within Accenture.
• Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments.
• Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside.
• Individual would manage small teams and or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
