Job summary

WPP in Gurugram, India is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager with strong Agile delivery expertise and exposure to AI/GenAI-enabled ways of working. You will lead multiple Agile teams, drive predictable delivery, and optimize processes across global stakeholders.

The role focuses on delivery governance, metrics, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to leverage AI tools for planning, reporting, testing and productivity. A hybrid work model is in place with four in-office days.

Qualifications

• 12–16 years of technology delivery or program management experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing Agile delivery across multiple teams.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Agile principles and scaled Agile practices.
• Experience in global delivery environments with cross-functional tech teams.
• Practical exposure to AI/GenAI tools in delivery workflows.
• Strong SDLC, engineering practices, and release management knowledge.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Agile metrics and delivery reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple Agile teams and initiatives.
• Drive Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
• Ensure clear sprint goals, prioritized backlogs and predictable execution.
• Monitor delivery metrics such as velocity, throughput, sprint predictability and cycle time.
• Manage dependencies, risks, impediments and stakeholder escalations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, QA and global stakeholders to align priorities.
• Establish delivery governance, reporting and communication cadences.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI/GenAI tools for planning, documentation, reporting, testing and productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, quality and team effectiveness.
• Manage resource planning, capacity and allocation across teams.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager with strong expertise in Agile delivery and exposure to AI/GenAI-enabled ways of working.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12–16 years of experience in technology delivery or program management.

• Experience managing cross-functional technology teams in a global delivery environment.
• Practical exposure to AI/GenAI tools and their application in delivery workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience in Agile transformation or delivery excellence initiatives.
• Exposure to AI-assisted engineering, workflow automation, or productivity improvement initiatives.
