Job summary

Schopp is seeking a delivery driver in Tamil Nadu to transport tissue and other products as per the schedule. You will verify orders, collect payments and driver-safe with customer sign-offs, maintaining daily records and coordinating with Sales, Warehouse and Accounts teams.

The role requires familiarity with local routes, Tamil communication, punctuality and a customer-oriented approach. Prior FMCG/logistics experience is advantageous and a valid two-wheeler licence may be required.

Qualifications

• 10th/12th pass or equivalent.
• Experience in delivery, FMCG, logistics or distribution preferred.
• Valid two-wheeler driving licence depending on delivery vehicle.
• Good knowledge of local routes and locations.
• Basic communication skills in Tamil.
• Punctual, responsible and customer-oriented.
• Ability to handle cash and delivery documentation responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tissue products and other company products to customers as per the assigned delivery schedule.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
• Verify products, quantities and invoices before delivery.
• Collect signed/stamped delivery acknowledgements from customers.
• Handle products carefully during loading, transportation and unloading to avoid damage.
• Collect payments from customers, wherever applicable, and submit collections to the company as per procedure.
• Handle customer returns and report shortages, damages or discrepancies to the concerned team.
• Maintain proper delivery records and submit daily delivery reports.
• Coordinate with the Sales, Warehouse and Accounts teams regarding deliveries, pending orders and customer requirements.
• Maintain good relationships with customers and provide professional customer service.
• Identify potential new customers during delivery visits and share leads with the Sales Team.
• Inform the company about customer feedback, competitor activity and market opportunities.
• Ensure the company vehicle, if provided, is maintained properly and driven safely.
• Follow company policies, delivery procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform other delivery and logistics-related activities assigned by the management
