ZS is seeking a Decision Analytics Manager - Forecasting to lead forecasting engagements, drive business development, and mentor global teams. The role focuses on advanced forecasting models (epidemiology-based, patient-based, trend-based) and AI/ML-driven solutions, translating complex business problems into actionable insights.

You will work with senior client stakeholders across US, EU, Japan, and emerging markets, leveraging data synthesis and storytelling to deliver strategic impact.

• MBA with a quantitative or analytical degree; PhD with business application possible.
• 4–6 years post-MBA relevant work experience leading client engagements, teams and programs.
• Strong expertise in commercial demand forecast modeling, AI/ML or quantitative analysis.
• Proven ability to solve complex, ambiguous business problems.

Decision Analytics Manager - Forecasting

We are seeking a Manager with strong analytical capabilities, business development, team & client management, project delivery, and experience developing forecasting solutions. This role combines forecast modeling, AI/advanced analytics, agentic transformation and direct client engagement, with opportunities to lead global teams and influence high-impact business decisions.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and oversee forecasting engagements, including commercial demand forecasting and broader strategic use cases, ensuring delivery excellence and business impact.
• Drive business development activities by identifying client needs, developing proposals, supporting pursuit teams, and expanding existing client relationships.
• Support account growth by proactively identifying opportunities to extend forecasting engagements into broader commercial analytics, strategic planning, and AI-enabled decision support initiatives.
• Develop and deploy advanced forecasting models (epidemiology-based, patient-based, trend-based) and AI/ML-driven solutions.
• Translate complex, ambiguous business problems into structured analytical frameworks and actionable insights.
• Ability to work across multiple teams and functions to drive big engagements.
• Synthesize diverse data sources (market, patient, epidemiology, clinical, and secondary research) to inform forecasting assumptions and recommendations.
• Manage and mentor global, cross-functional teams (including offshore teams)
• Own end-to-end project delivery across multiple client engagements.
• Build and present executive-ready deliverables, including forecasting models, scenario analyses, and strategic insights decks.
• Apply AI-led thinking and innovative approaches to improve forecasting accuracy and decision-making.
• Maintain expertise in pharmaceutical markets, therapeutic areas, and global market dynamics (US, EU, Japan, emerging markets).

What You'll Bring:

• MBA with a bachelor's (and often graduate) degree in a quantitative, analytical discipline, such as Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Management Science, Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, or Engineering. Alternately, candidates may possess a PhD in marketing, economics, decision sciences, or related field with a business application. In lieu of an MBA or PhD, 8-10 years of relevant work experience may substitute.
• 4-6 years of post-MBA relevant work experience (or equivalent), including experience leading client engagements, managing teams, and owning workstreams or programs.
• Strong expertise in commercial demand forecast modeling, AI/ML, or quantitative analysis.
• Proven ability to solve complex, ambiguous business problems.
• Experience working directly with senior client stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
• Demonstrated success contributing to business development activities, proposal development, account growth, or client relationship management.
• Proven track record of leading global, cross-functional teams and delivering complex analytical engagements.
• Strong data synthesis, communication, and storytelling skills.
• Fluency in English.
