Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. seeks a Debt Market Origination professional to spearhead deal origination, engage with institutional and corporate clients, and expand the firm’s debt capital market footprint.

You will structure bond issuances, syndicated loans, and other fixed-income solutions in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful executions. The role requires 3–6 years in relevant markets, strong knowledge of Indian fixed-income

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Finance, Economics, Commerce; MBA/CFA preferred.
• 3–6 years in debt capital markets, fixed income origination, investment banking, or institutional distribution.
• Strong understanding of Indian fixed-income instruments—corporate bonds, government securities, money market instruments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; adept at producing pitch books and marketing materials.
• Robust network within institutional investors and issuer circles.
• Negotiation prowess and ability to work under tight timelines.
• High ethical standards and commitment to compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential issuers for fresh debt instruments across corporates, FI, and government entities.
• Maintain and grow relationships with institutional investors, banks, pension funds, and insurers.
• Engage in structuring bond issuances (short- & long-term), syndicated loans, and other fixed-income solutions.
• Liaise with legal, due diligence, ratings agencies to ensure seamless transaction execution.
• Monitor market trends, interest rate movements, and regulatory developments to inform origination strategy.
• Develop high-quality pitch materials, offer documents, and presentations for issuer/investor audiences.
• Work with Wholesale Debt Market Head; coordinate with research, trading, compliance, and marketing teams.
• Assist in negotiations, documentation, and final execution of deals.
• Support client servicing post-issuance—timely delivery, investor queries, and settlement coordination.

Role Overview:

As a key member of the Debt Market Origination team, youll spearhead deal origination efforts, engage with institutional and corporate clients, and contribute to expanding ORGANIZATION’S ’s debt capital market footprint. You will work closely with the Wholesale Debt Market leadership to source, structure, and execute debt financing transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deal Origination & Client Engagement:
  • Identify and approach potential issuers for fresh debt instruments, including corporates, financial institutions, and government entities.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with institutional investors, banks, pension funds, and insurance companies.
• Structuring & Execution:
  • Engage in structuring bond issuances (both short-term and long-term), syndicated loans, and other fixed-income solutions.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders (legal, due diligence, ratings agencies) to ensure seamless transaction execution.
• Market Analysis & Insights:
  • Monitor market trends, interest rate movements, and regulatory developments to inform origination strategy.
  • Develop high-quality pitch materials, offer documents, and presentations tailored for issuer and investor audiences.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Wholesale Debt Market Head
  • Coordinate with research, trading, compliance, and marketing teams to support deal closure and post-issuance support.
• Transaction Support & Post-Deal Management:
  • Assist in negotiations, documentation, and final execution of deals.
  • Support client servicing post-issuance—ensuring timely delivery, investor queries, and settlement coordination.

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related fields; MBA or CFA preferred.
