Job Title: Technical Trainer Data Engineering-Snowflake
Job Type: Freelancing (3-4 hours per day)
Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Technical Trainer Data Engineering to train freshers and entry-level professionals in core data engineering concepts. The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience in Python, SQL, and a good understanding of modern data engineering tools and workflows. Experience with Snowflake is highly preferred. The trainer will be responsible for delivering structured training programs, mentoring learners, and helping them build industry‑ready skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor‑led training sessions on Data Engineering fundamentals
- Teach Python for data processing, including libraries and best practices
- Train learners on SQL, covering queries, joins, subqueries, performance tuning, and real‑world use cases
- Introduce concepts of ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and data modeling
- Conduct hands‑on labs, assignments, and mini‑projects
- Guide learners in understanding Databricks or Snowflake, Apache Spark basics, and big data concepts
- Evaluate learner performance through assessments, quizzes, and projects
- Provide mentoring, doubt‑clearing sessions, and career guidance to freshers
- Continuously update training material based on industry trends
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve curriculum quality and delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–6 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or related roles
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Excellent knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar)
- Good understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL, pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses)
- Experience training or mentoring freshers or entry‑level candidates
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple and practical manner
Preferred Skills
- Hands‑on experience with Snowflake
- Basic knowledge of Apache Spark
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience creating training content, documentation, or labs
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git
