Job summary

Novartis seeks an experienced DD&IT Global FP&A Manager based in Barcelona, Spain or Hyderabad, India. You will lead end-to-end planning, forecasting and reporting for the DD&IT organization, partnering with senior Finance and DD&IT leaders to drive data‑driven investment decisions.

• Bachelor's degree and extensive FP&A experience in global, matrixed organizations.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting expertise.
• Advanced financial modelling with large datasets.
• Ability to present to senior leaders with clear insights.
• Influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong project management and ability to manage priorities.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
• Experience in digital/IT contexts (desirable).

As DD&IT Global FP&A Manager, you will lead end-to-end financial planning, performance reporting and strategic forecasting across Novartis global Digital, Data and Information Technology organization. Working in a fast-paced and highly visible environment, you will partner with senior Finance and DD&IT leaders worldwide, translate complex data into actionable insights, and help shape investment decisions that accelerate digital innovation for patients globally. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the global Financial Planning and Analysis calendar, coordinating key deliverables, milestones and dependencies.
• Own month-end close and reporting, resolving errors, late inputs and financial variances across DD&IT.
• Prepare performance dashboards, variance commentary and decision-ready reporting materials for senior leadership.
• Coordinate latest outlook submissions and consolidate financial inputs for monthly business reviews.
• Lead budget and three-year target planning, developing guidance, templates and supporting financial models.
• Monitor financial data quality and partner with data owners to resolve issues promptly.
• Track forecast accuracy, explain deviations and identify financial risks, opportunities and corrective actions.
• Perform robust financial modelling and analysis using large, complex datasets to support business decisions.
• Influence senior Finance and DD&IT leaders to align priorities, assumptions and financial outcomes.
• Lead end-to-end planning and reporting processes while driving continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
• Significant Financial Planning and Analysis experience supporting global, matrixed organizations.
• Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial performance analysis.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills with experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Experience preparing executive-level presentations and communicating financial insights to senior leaders.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes without formal reporting authority.
• Strong project management skills with experience managing complex deliverables and competing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, navigate ambiguity and deliver against demanding deadlines.
