Job summary

LetzBizz in Chennai invites a Technical Lead to drive an end-to-end SQL Server migration to AWS, coordinating DBA, development, QA and infrastructure teams.

The role demands strong AWS migration skills and hands-on experience with RDS, DMS and EC2 deployments, along with leadership for agile project delivery. This is a 2.5-month contract with a competitive budget; immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SQL Server experience.
• 5+ years in technical leadership.
• Hands-on AWS cloud migration experience.
• Experience with AWS RDS SQL Server, AWS DMS and EC2 deployments.

Responsibilities

Technical Lead – SQL Server Migration

Key Responsibilities

• Review application dependencies and compatibility with RDS.
• Lead migration rehearsals and production cutovers.
• Ensure adherence to architecture and security standards.
• Monitor project quality, timelines, and deliverables. Resolve complex technical issues during migration.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and status reporting.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of SQL Server experience.
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience.
• Hands-on AWS cloud migration experience.
• Strong understanding of:

• High Availability and Disaster Recovery

Preferred Qualifications
