Tata Consultancy Services in Pune, India seeks an experienced DB2 DBA to design and implement DB2 LUW architectures for enterprise workloads and to set up DB2 LUW on Azure.

The role leads migrations from DB2 on AIX to LUW and Azure, performs performance tuning, backup/recovery, HADR, security and governance, and collaborates with application, infra, and cloud teams to support delivery.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IBM DB2 (AIX & LUW) experience.
• Experience migrating DB2 from AIX Linux (LUW) to cloud.
• Experience deploying and managing DB2 on Azure Virtual Machines.
• Skills in performance tuning, SQL optimization, and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of Azure services (VMs, Storage, Backup, ASR, Monitoring).
• Scripting experience (Shell, PowerShell, or Python).
