Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced IBM DB2 Database Administrator to join our delivery team in Hyderabad. The role covers DB2 LUW/UDB administration, backup and recovery, HADR, performance tuning, and SQL/Shell scripting.

You will gather requirements, translate client needs into system specifications, aid in effort estimation, and contribute to designing, developing, validating and supporting critical database solutions for our digital transformation engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience in IBM DB2 database administration in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of DB2 LUW/UDB, backup/recovery, and HADR.
• Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and monitoring.
• Linux/Unix administration, with AIX preferred.

Responsibilities

• As part of the Infosys delivery team, ensure design, development, validation and support deliver high service levels.
• Gather requirements and translate them into detailed system requirements.
• Assist in estimating work and provide information to technology leads and managers.
• Contribute to building efficient programs and help clients navigate digital transformation journey.
