Job summary

Infosys is seeking a skilled DB2 Database Administrator to support IBM DB2 LUW/UDB environments with backup, recovery, HADR and performance tuning. The role involves design, development, validation, and support activities to ensure high service levels for clients.

Qualifications

• DB2 Database Administration expertise required.
• Experience with DB2 LUW/UDB environments.
• Knowledge of DB2 backup, recovery and high availability (HADR).
• Experience in performance tuning and query optimization for DB2.
• Linux/Unix administration experience (AIX preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL and shell scripting for database operations.
• Experience with database monitoring and scripting.
• Familiarity with maintenance and upgrade activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate and support DB2-based solutions for clients.
• Gather requirements and translate them into system requirements.
• Contribute to project estimations and planning with tech leads and PMs.
• Build efficient programs and systems to support client digital transformation journeys.
