Job summary

Capgemini in Gurgaon seeks an experienced DataStage ETL Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage. You will provide L2/L3 support for DataStage jobs and workflows, monitor batch executions, and ensure SLA timelines are met.

The role requires strong SQL skills, experience in resolving production incidents, RCA, and collaboration with SDM, infra, and downstream teams. On-call and weekend deployments may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage and SQL for ETL development.
• Strong SQL knowledge and data warehousing fundamentals.
• Ability to analyze production incidents and implement fixes.
• Experience in monitoring ETL batch executions and ensuring SLA adherence.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Provide L2/L3 application support for DataStage ETL jobs and workflows.
• Monitor daily ETL batch executions and ensure successful completion within SLA timelines.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents, data issues, and job failures.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
• Coordinate with business users, infrastructure teams, and downstream application teams for issue resolution.
• Handle service requests, defect fixes, and production deployments.
• Develop and implement minor enhancements and changes in existing DataStage jobs.
• Support release management activities and post-deployment validations.
• Create and maintain operational documents, support procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in on-call support and weekend deployments as required.

• Sound practical exposure of DataStage & SQL-Query.
• Good technical skill to solve the issue technically.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage
• Work with SDM and provide support to SDM delivering the defined services/functions on the account
• Provide L2/L3 application support for DataStage ETL jobs and workflows.
• Monitor daily ETL batch executions and ensure successful completion within SLA timelines.
