You will partner with DBAs and networking teams, monitor performance, respond to incidents, and document best practices. The role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to compliance and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and IaC tooling.
• Support data pipeline operations ensuring reliable data flow.

• Automate routine tasks with scripts and frameworks.
• Manage Docker containerized environments for deployment.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools, primarily Terraform.
• Support data pipeline operations to ensure reliable and scalable data flow across systems.
• Monitor infrastructure and data pipeline performance using relevant tools, identifying anomalies and performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in incident response activities for infrastructure and data pipeline issues, working towards rapid resolution.
• Implement automation scripts and frameworks to optimize routine infrastructure and operational tasks.
• Manage containerized environments, primarily Docker, supporting deployment and scalability of applications.
• Apply fundamental security principles to protect data assets and infrastructure, including basic access control and encryption mechanisms.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of cloud security best practices for AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Support firewall rule management, vulnerability assessments, and backup operations to ensure system resilience.
• Analyze logs and system data to troubleshoot issues and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with database administrators and networking teams to manage configurations and ensure operational continuity.
