The role requires 4+ years in a solution architecture capacity, strong PySpark and Databricks skills, and the ability to translate business needs into robust, secure architectures. India-based on-site role.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Databricks Solution Architect with 10+ years of overall experience and 4+ years of hands-on experience working in a Solution Architect role. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, and modern data engineering architectures.

The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions using Databricks and Spark, while working closely with technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable data engineering and analytics solutions using Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Define end-to-end data architecture, including data ingestion, processing, transformation, storage, and consumption.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to data engineering teams.
• Develop and review solutions using PySpark and Databricks.
• Design high-performance and fault-tolerant Spark-based data processing solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical architectures.
• Define architecture standards, best practices, design patterns, and technical roadmaps.
• Perform architecture reviews and ensure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and reliability requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex data processing and performance issues.
• Mentor technical teams and guide them on Databricks, Spark, and data engineering best practices.

Mandatory Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a Solution Architect.
• Mandatory Databricks Certification or Databricks Champion status.
